Clothes Show Live

Clothes Show Live - Birmingham NEC

Being my first time going to the Clothes Show, I didn't really know what to expect as I'd heard mixed reviews. From being amazing, to them being scammers and everything overpriced...which I'd just like to say, its definitely far from it!
Tickets costing only £25, which I think is an absolute bargain for such a good day out!

Myself and Layla caught a train up to Birmingham pretty early because we wanted a full days worth of shopping! (you know how girls can be)
We went to the Alcatel One Touch fashion show at just gone 11 o'clock and it's safe to say it was an absolute mission to find it. As both of us are hopeless with directions and it already being majorly busy, it took us about half an hour to actually find where we were supposed to be but by the end of it, it was definitely worth it!
I didn't really know what to expect with the show because of fashion shows I've seen in the past, I just assumed the models would walk up and down, do a couple of fish pouts and walk off. But nooooo, this fashion show was insane!

The show kicked off with Stereo Kicks from X Factor. As much as I took the piss of all the screaming fan girls, they were pretty decent!

BB looking beaut as per!

From acting, to dancing, to having to walk in 10 inch heels, they can do it all!
At a fashion show you don't really expect to see that because you think models just walk up and down the catwalk but they're actually so talented!
Being 5ft10, I thought I was tall but seeing these models, I'd never seen anything like it! The female models literally have the longest legs in the world!

Now, onto the best bit of the show...

Topless male models of course!
Safe to say every girl in the room at this point was slightly dribbling.
Just look at them!!

Onto the stalls!
They had a huge variety of stalls but the only ones they were lacking on was actually clothes ones!
There were only a few clothe stalls that I actually recognised, such as Bill And Mar, Oh My Love, Hot!Mess and a few others. The rest were mainly vintage stalls and small boutiques.

The Barry M and Rimmel London stalls were absolutely amazing! You could get your makeup and nails did and they were also doing £10 goodie bags, which inside came 4/5 nail varnishes, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and lipstick! For £10 that is an absolute bargain, so Layla and I ended up buying 2 goodie bags each.

My all time favourite stalls though were the jewellery stands! I have a huge addiction to sterling silver rings, so I was in my absolute element.

We were also lucky enough to meet some of the lovely cast from Made In Chelsea.

Here are Layla's goodies that she bought!
The only things that I can actually tell you where they're from, are the Rimmel and Barry M cosmetics. The rest of Layla's purchases are from random stalls that didn't have names!

and then onto my favourite purchases of the day!
I was having a moment for anything burgundy, so when I saw these boots I just had to have them both!
My favourite ones are definitely the Public Desire ones, with the burgundy tips. I like how they're still black at the same time, so I feel like they'll go with more.
Then my vintage rings, I'm just in love with them!

So yeah, if you've never been to the Clothes Show before then I would definitely recommend it, 100% worth it!

Thanks for reading, I hope I haven't bored you for too long!
